清晚期 粉彩八吉祥大天球瓶一對

Late 19th-Early 20th Century


Each vase sturdily potted, the globular body surmounted by a tall neck, the main panel decorated with entwined lotus scrolls alternating with ribbon-tied Buddhist emblems, divided by key fret bands, a row of ruyi heads and a circle of overlapping plantain leaves, the underside bearing an apocryphal Qianlong six-character mark in underglazed blue.

Condition
One with two short hairlines to the mouth rim, the bottom interior with firing flaws, the other one in overall good visual condition, both with firing imperfection to the interior, scattered glaze pits, old label residues, also with scattered abrasions to surfaces, wear to gilt and enamel, as well as soiling to footring, each with a scratched CHINA mark to the underside, Otherwise good visual condition.
